A tribute to synesthesia

Yellow is...bitter. A bright sensation that blinds, binds; benign yet barricading. Yellow equals parentheses and hides the bitter beneath a mask.

Blue is...vast. A never ending landscape of openness and freedom. A void that can not be conquered by man.

Red is...sweet. Born from mother nature. Need I say more?

White is...nothing. Simply a blank page ready to be showered with imagination, thought, and ingenuity.

Black, too, is nothing. Devoid of everything yet made up of everything. Adding and subtracting eventually results in black.

Theaters and Friends

Ah Summer. A time to kick back, relax, and do summer homework.
At least, if the temperature was reasonable! But then, that would be too easy. Summer is not complete unless some unexpected event happens. For me, that was the breakdown of my AC. Oh, how it will be missed. Honestly, I am managing without it, and - truth be told - I like it off. Unfortunately, my mom comes home in two days. TWO DAYS before the complaints come rolling in. Well, probably not. My mother is a mature, sensible adult. She should understand that the lack of AC creates a super high tension that could snap under the tiniest complaint.

Besides, it's not "hot." Compared to an oven, the temperature is a fire place. Warm and cozy. You know the feeling. Any hotter, and comfortability would melt away under the heat. Any cooler, and the environment would be perfect...for flowers.

Did I mention camps?

Yeah. I'm participating in some engineering camps. One in OSU and another in UC (If you know someone who is participating in the UC Interalliance camp, don't tell them! If you are participating in said camp, forget you ever read this! I want my presence to be a suprise :D).

Did I mention vacation?

Indeed. This Sunday, I leave for Hilton Head! An unofficial annual tradition, this will be the fourth year in a row that my family has gone down to HHI. I am exited. We're meeting up with some of my cousins down there.

Fun.

Message Board Rant

For the real poem: http://img264.imageshack.us/img264/4148/grammarpoemcopyrq2.jpg

A Message Board’s Rant

Hey you web masses, come and listen to me.

There’s a story I must tell to you all, for you see,

I’m a wonderful system that allows you to speak,

And get your opinions far over the sea.

That’s right, I’m a message board for all to use,

Not just a plaything for teenagers to abuse.

I’m fast and I’m stylish, I’m far from a ruse.

Yet you people act silly, and it makes me confused,

Your fonts and emoticons are fun to apply,

And your rants and discussions can be fun (I won’t lie).

So there’s a simple action that I’d like you to try,

Trust me, it’s simple, it won’t cause you to die.

Please! Use some grammar. A period, some sense,

Is all you need to make a simple sentence.

Proper spelling works too, don’t be so dense,

Words like “teh” and “pwn” make me so tense.

You may think that it’s funny, that it makes you look cool,

But in the end, you’ll just be a fool.

I’ll think that you’re brain-dead, as dumb as a mule.

But use proper grammar, and suddenly you rule!

Adjectives to verbs, they’re all on the list.

Conjunctions, infinitives, are you getting my gist?

Not all of these points are that hard to miss,

Grammar defines language, so please don’t resist.

And thus ends my rant, I hope you’ve been struck,

By my powerful message, that’s left you awestruck.

So I hope you listen, and I wish you good luck.

!!!111! lol ur poem iz teh suk! :D :D :D

School be coming around the moutain...

The last week has been what you might call a "Spring Break."

What is a "Spring Break?" you might ask.

The term "Spring Break" refers to the week off the school system [da Man!] gives to their drones [da Students!]. It's very short lived, but relaxing. Or so they think.

My story today is of the later...the thinking part.

I received a phone call today. A phone call of Destiny. A voice warned me of an oncoming doom, one that would ravish my mind scape and leave me a horrid wreck. It spoke of...SCHOOL!

It was returning. The system was rearing its head once more. I had been tricked; the break had softened me, leaving me weak and powerless.

Nevertheless, I prepared. I packed my things: books, bag, pencils, paper...Everything you could think of. And then...

That's it. School starts tomorrow, again. An unpleasant experience that I must overcome once more. Wish me luck, else I suffer my teachers' wrath.

So here's my first post. Don't expect anything else that's good. Oh, and a warning, most things posted now and in the future are not me. This is for fun, a stress-reducer so I don't go insane. Thanks for convincing me to do this. - Pavo
